Deborah Avans

Singer/Songwriter, Deborah Avans was born in Chicago

and grew up in Alabama. She was adopted at age two

and moved to Alabama at age four. Deborah grew up

singing in church and was a member of a gospel quartet.

She sang in the church choir, school plays, weddings,

festivals and other events.

Deborah sang with several bands

in Alabama and Tennessee, and

decided to pursue her music career.

Shortly after moving to Nashville,

Deborah met several artists and has

even toured to Pennsylvania, Ohio,

and West Virginia.

She currently sings with a band throughout Tennessee.

Deborah enjoys going to Songwriter nights and Open

Mic nights around Nashville. Deborah has a current CD

and is working on her next album.
